Staffordshire University celebrates improved research performance
78 per cent of research carried out at Staffordshire University is of international standard, according to the results of the Research Excellence Framework (REF) announced today.
The University is celebrating an improved position in the REF which makes a judgement on the research activities of UK universities in terms of output and impact.
The results, published by the Higher Education Funding Council for England, measure the quality of research conducted by 91 researchers at Staffordshire University – 20 more than in the last submission, in 2008.
