Flux Ceramics-British Ceramics Biennial.
Jon Thorne Photography

Professor David Sanderson, Creative Director.
Established in late 2010, with it's roots in the MA Ceramic Design course at Staffordshire University, FLUX is a brand new initiative from Stoke-on-Trent, at the heart of the ceramics industry.

FLUX galvanises the passion, energy and talent of new, undiscovered designers while drawing on the rich heritage of the potteries to bring to market exquisite, unusual, bone china products. Offering both design and manufacturing flexibility unattainable in today's mass production culture, FLUX offers the capacity to enable the production of single pieces and multi-runs, without compromise to quality or exclusivity.

Quintessentially English, we are creating products that are beautiful, collectable, at the same time highly contemporary and exploiting the traditional qualities and values of fine bone china.
